Information we receive

When you sign in through Sign in with ChatGPT, our authentication provider may provide account information such as your display name, email address, and account identifier. We also receive information you choose to submit, including forum discussions and replies, marketplace descriptions, gear photographs, asking prices, approximate locations, and seller contact details.

Like most websites, hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request logs, and security-related events to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

• Verify member sign-in and manage access to member-only features.
• Publish discussions, replies, and marketplace listings you choose to submit.
• Show seller contact information only to signed-in members.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, moderate, and protect FoilKlub.
• Respond to reasonable account, privacy, or community-support requests.

What is public

FoilKlub is a public website. Forum discussions, replies, display names attached to discussions, listing descriptions, listing photographs, asking prices, and approximate listing locations may be visible to anyone, including search engines and people with a shared link. Do not include your phone number, email address, street address, precise launch location, or other sensitive information in public posts or listing descriptions unless you are comfortable making it public.

Seller contact details

A seller’s name and the contact information entered in the dedicated seller-contact field are hidden from visitors who are not signed in. Signed-in members can view those details to discuss a listing. This access restriction does not prevent a signed-in member from copying, forwarding, or otherwise misusing information they can see, so share only contact details you are comfortable providing to other members.

Authentication and service providers

FoilKlub currently uses OpenAI’s Sign in with ChatGPT for authentication. OpenAI controls its own sign-in screens, verification emails, account requirements, and handling of information under its own terms and privacy policy. Hosting, database, file-storage, and security providers may process information as needed to operate FoilKlub. FoilKlub does not ask for or receive your OpenAI account password.

Storage and retention

Discussions, marketplace listings, uploaded photographs, and associated account or contact details may be stored by our hosting and storage providers for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Backups, security logs, or legally required records may persist for a limited additional period where applicable.

Your choices

You can choose not to post, not to create a listing, and not to provide information beyond what a particular feature requires. For questions about accessing, correcting, or removing information, contact the FoilKlub site operator through an available FoilKlub community channel. Requests may require verification, and some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

Children and age requirements

FoilKlub is not directed to children under 13. Members must also meet the age and account requirements of the authentication provider they use. A parent or guardian should contact the site operator if they believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as FoilKlub evolves. The date above identifies the latest revision. Continued use after an updated policy is posted means the updated policy applies to your future use of the service.
